Leroy Brown is a young aspiring artist at the age of 21 who grew up in Corona, Queens in a two family house with his mother, father and three older brothers. Growing up he was most influence by artists such as Tupac, Outkast, Ghostface Killa, Slick Rick, and his biggest influence was his brother Eddie Qhz. Eddie exposed Leroy Brown, born Leroy Stennett Jr. to music and many other thing that he went thorough in his youth. Leroy used music as a way to express his feelings and escape the experiences that he had run into on the harsh and cold streets of New York. It was his only way out of the drama, and a way to keep him positively focused and motivated. Leroy Brown is most accredited to the fact that he solely speaks from personal experience in his music; because of this, it is very easy for listeners to identify with and relate to his lyrics. He uses no gimmicks. No smoke, no mirrors, just Leroy Brown. He showcases talents from his music to acting and has performed in various venues and has been featured in movies such as Love Monkey and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. He has also appeared on Chappelle's Show.
