Born and raised in the Netherlands, a country known for its windmills, tulips, wooden shoes, Gouda cheese, foreign trade, its battle against the sea (dikes, polders, delta works), medieval painters, liberal soft drug policy, its lack of mountains, and probably many other things. I earn a living as a technical engineer in the semiconductor industry. I thrive on creativity, and a big passion in my life is music and playing drums to express myself. In 2006 I started making jewelry as a hobby, mostly using silver and gemstones (examples in my photo album). I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, who means the world to me. I have some close friends, and with most of them I go back many years. When there's a chance for it, I enjoy going to a good concert. I like riding my bicycle, enjoying the beauty of nature. Recently I started doing yoga. And I also meditate regularly.
As for the music: in my media player you'll find some of the songs that I recorded with different musicians from all over the world, in various bands and projects. Mostly as a drummer, and adding extra flavor with various percussion instruments. My latest contributions are for At War With Self (with Glenn Snelwar, new album to released in the fall) and Exivious (as guest percussionist on the 2009 self-titled album). And I play easy listening music every week with Jazzabelle. I also have a personal website all about drumming
Who I'd like to meet: genuine people from all over the world.
the party will be long and rough, probably! unfortunately tomorrow I'll have to teach for few hours. damn, we can guess how that will work. :)) take care! cheers!
my weekend will be tiresome, because of working and not sleeping as much as I'm used to. but it will also be a nice one, today I'll attend to a blues-rock concert (Lance Lopez, if you know him), with 2 friends. and of course I'll drink few beers. now I'm drinking milk. damn that's wierd. :))
