Les Amateurs de Vinyl consists of selectors Big C, Fresh Company, Gossé de Skater and The Flexorcist. Originally hailing from the city of Haarlem, The Netherlands their aim is to blow up the dance with their unlimited murderous styles. Still being youths their paths crossed and soon a gang called “Mariastichting Mandem” was formed. In these days the Amateurs were still known as Lil’ C, Barely Conceived Company, Gossé de Scooter and Young Flex. Having known each other for most of their lives they perform as a true team in the most severe circumstances so joining forces musically under the flag of Les Amateurs was a natural powermove which had been in the air ever since Africa and South America went their separate ways. Venues which have been blessed by one or more Amateurs include Café Cordes, Club Stalker, Snowplanet, Aloha, Billabong Beach and the infamous Patronaat. Also being recognized as being exceptionally gifted in the production and mc-ing fields classic tunes will and have hit the massdem. For bookings please come well equipped because for minder dan één rug gaan Les Amateurs maar door één deur…

FreshCompany, de knapste van het stel, heeft het in zijn eentje voor elkaar gekregen het bijna vergeten genre van de Mississippi-Delta Funk weer hip te maken. Freshco houdt van tattoos ontwerpen en heeft een hekel aan barbies.
Big-C is een echte entertainer en belichaamt alles wat rock-n-roll is. Big-C gooide nog nooit een TV uit een hotelraam, wel eens een asbak maar dat ging -per ongeluk-. (einde citaat)
