Take Nurse With Wound, Severed Heads, Virgin Prunes, and other assorted bands and genres, toss into a blender on high speed, and leave the lid off. That's Le Scrambled Debutante. Formed in 1987 - 88, Le Scrambled Debutante "reformed" in 2005 after many heartbreaks, trips through insanity, and other slings and arrows that life can toss at anyone...
The sound is created by using things found, such as sounds from outer space, late night AM and shortwave samples, tape loops, bits of stuff found via the internet, and other choice tidbits from the far reaches of the imagination--as well as electronic type fiddledy things and a Roland keyboard.
Why the name Le Scrambled Debutante?! What's all this noise about?! Who are these people making this insane sound?!

NOTE: During the 15 (or so) year hiatus in-between Le Scrambled Debutante, Allan Zane (aka Sir Bear Trapper) had a project called DATASLUT to fill the void that LSD had left. This is BY FAR the most obscure and unobtainable project Allan Zane has ever spawned... DATASLUT produced only 2 SMALL private editions--'Binary Bimbo' 2-tape set and the 'Glossolalia Electronica' CD-R. The ONLY information concerning DATASLUT can be found on Soundclick.com . There is also 3 tracks there from the 'Glossolalia Electronica' CD-R that you can listen to. No further information has (or will be) made available concerning this project. And don't bother looking for these releases--you will have an easier chance of winning the lottery or being struck by lightning...

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
Hi Allan, I would love to see the scans. I think for Laments and Lullabies all I have is a copy of the cover artwork, and I don't think I have the press release for the Daucus Karota tour, so these would be nice to see. Would you be happy of I added them as well to my pages? Best wishes, John
