In the midst of recording Centennial, a 100-song album of primarily perfect music.
"Les Debutantes" is the name given to the songwriting duo of J. Brent Stewart and J. Glen Reid.
They hate tacky, awful band bio press packet crap.
They are from Louisville. They love music and basketball and movies.
In recording and in live performances, the Debutantes grow in number to include Meredith Noel (of the Fervor) on bass and vocals, and Danny Cash (formerly of My Morning Jacket) on guitar, vocals and other whatnot.
They have been joined by a wide variety of drummers, most recently Charles Bailey and Justin Elliott. Part time Debs in good standing include (but are certainly not limited to) Dan Marshall, Drew Osborn, Andy Cochran, Tim Gillespie, Dave Wolkensperg, Andy Sturdevant, and Nate the Viking, just to mention a few.
Les Debs are currently hard at work on their fast approaching 100 song opus "Centennial", likely to be four or more cd's in length.
