I'm a big time musical theater nerd, so I am usually listening to some Broadway musical of some sort. I also love 70's soft rock. Carole King, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce. (I'm a Baby Boomer at heart.) 80's music is always fun, and I absolutely love the old standards - Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Rogers and Hart.Movies
Favorite movie is "The Color Purple". (It still destroys me for at least a day or two every time I see it.) Last two movies I saw were "Sicko" and "Hairspray". LOVED them both, for very different reasons, obviously. I highly recommend both of them, and I am very excited about this growing musical trend in cinema. The movie musical is BACK BABY!!!Television
I must confess that I do love pop culture trash TV like "The Soup" and "Best Week Ever". (It's my Saturday morning indulgence!) I have an unhealthy addiction to all those "Baby Story" shows on TLC. I say unhealty because I get enraged after almost every episode. I've become a HUGE "Lost" fan now that I live in Hawaii. Favorite TV show of all time is "Seinfeld". The reruns never get old.

Last summer, I moved to Hawaii from Los Angeles and I am so happy to be here. I LOVE living in Hawaii!!! Back in LA LA land, I worked with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 11 years in the field of Early Childhood Special Education. I also taught childbirth classes out of my home. I've taken the past year off to be home with my children, but once my little one starts preschool in September, it will be back to the real world of work for me. I love theatre, and just appeared in a production of the musical "Working" at a local community theatre here in Hawaii.Who I'd like to meet:
