En ouverture, l'envol raffiné d'un pur moment classique.
Puis comme une rupture, une suite de piano hypnotique relayée par les guitares insomniaques de
Frédéric D Oberland, Dave Olliffe et Patrick Delattre.
L'album traverse alors une sorte de désert électrique fait de silence contrarié, de
confessions volées à la mélancolie d'un paysage qu'on écouterait de sa chambre sans
jamais éprouver le besoin d'en sortir.

Prends ta respiration. Ecarquille tes yeux d'un strabisme divergent extérieur / intérieur.
T'as ton épée, ton amour et ta barre de vie au maximum, alors on y va.
Pas le choix, pas appuyer sur start, dans la vie tu t'essouffles, tu cries, et puis c'est derrière et puis c'est revenu et puis ça te quitte pas.
Souviens toi que même si tu meures trois fois tu n'auras vécu qu'une seule vie.
Bouge ta tête, tourne, tourne, pas en rond, surtout pas en rond*.
C'est qu'au milieu du désert t'entends encore rugir le tonnerre, au creux de tes babines, là ou tu sais.
Te méprends pas, on ne sort pas de notre sujet, l'amour, la mort, la vie, la désarticulation;
aime, aime, on te demande que ça.

With its centre of operations in The Light City, Les Enregistrements de l’Europe Parisien (LEEP) and Colin Johnco records are the new special guest to our series.
Both labels release under CC, although some of their releases are only available under purchase on their website shop. The physical releases are beautifully handmade and have that unique special taste (and smell) of limited editions.
With special weakness for french artists, the label expand its connections all across Europe (Germany, UK, Spain, Greece Turkey or even The Vatican…), and also USA or Brazil.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
