Créé en 1982 de toutes pièces à partir d’une cave inoccupée, le Sentier des Halles est devenu en l’espace de 20 ans une référence incontournable dans le paysage musical parisien et français.
D’abord café-théâtre, la salle s’oriente vers la chanson en 1986 : cette même année, Maurane y assure 30 représentations, peu après c’est Jean-Louis Foulquier qui décide de s’y installer quotidiennement pour son émission Pollen.
La liste des chanteurs qui ont arpenté la scène du sentier devient alors conséquente :Les Têtes Raides, Gnawa Diffusion , FFF, Mister Gang Les Nonnes Troppo, Allain Leprest, , La Tordue, Georges Chelon, Alana Filippi, Albert Dupontel, , Ceux Qui Marchent Debout, Angélique Kidjo …
En 1996, à l’occasion des 10 ans de la chanson de la salle, le Sentier des Halles peut mettre en avant un bilan flatteur et accueillir avec sérénité Mano Solo, Arthur H et bien d’autres artistes pour autant de concerts et de one man show exceptionnels.
Et plus récemment : Mano Solo, Karpatt, Mell, Ina Ich ,Thomas VDB, Le Petit Dernier, Désert Rebel, Ours , Pause , Medi and the Medecin Show, Siméo, Joseph d’Anvers, Rose, Barbara Carlotti et bien d’autres encore…..
Le Sentier des Halles fait « peau neuve » depuis l’arrivée de nouveaux programmateurs.
Une programmation plus éclectique où la chanson française reprend sa place, parmi la pop, le rock, la world et l’humour…Et bientôt : des spectacles pour enfants, des soirées DJs, des soirées « cartes blanches »….
Des travaux de rénovation ont été entrepris :
- des meilleures conditions sonores .
- deux configurations de salle possibles :
Assise (one man show et concerts acoustiques)
Debout (autres concerts…)
About the Sentier des Halles :
Fonded in 1982 in an unoccupied cellar, the Sentier des Halles became in 20 years a reference impossible to avoid in the Parisian and French musical landscape.
Initially a cabaret, the room is at first directed towards the French variety music in 1986: this same year, Maurane, a well-known French artist, ensures 30 shows there, and shortly after it is Jean-Louis Foulquier who decides to settle there daily for his TV-Show called Pollen.

In 1996, for the 10th anniversary of the room, the Sentier des Halles can be proud of a flattering assessment and welcomes with serenity Mano Solo, Arthur H and many other artists for as many exceptional concerts and one man shows.

The Sentier des Halles is wearing a “new skin” since the arrival of new programmers.
More eclectic programming where the French song takes its place again, among the pop one, but also rock'n'roll, world and comedy … Upcoming shows: thematic nights: children, DJs, Carte blanche …
Recent renovation of the room has been undertaken: a new bar, (much more convivial), better sound conditions …
