A haircut and a gun.
Girls, booze, cigarettes, lust and desire, minimum wage, rock'n'roll days.
This is the story of Les Gars.
A brash trio, hailing from Toronto, Canada, which formed in February 2008.
They write about what they know best.
Modern Life.
The songs recently added to this page are all but rough demos.
They will be hitting the shores of the UK sooner then now.
So keep posted.
Cool.

That was a great set at The Horseshoe. A whirling-dervish of blizzard-riffed garage-rock. Take The Stooges, The Ramones, and snarling Nuggets-inspired 60's guitar-thrash, and you'll have Les Gars. Roaring, rough-neck, and dangerous, an unyielding spirit that makes you want to air-guitar and party at the sametime. A throwback that strives for authenticity. And succeeds.
There is a review of the Camden show and an interview with Vello on this site: http://hangout. altsounds. com/reviews/ (I can't open the articles fully - get an error, but hopefully, you can)
Alright fella's - saw you guys in Camden last night and thought you boys rocked it super hard! Fantastic live band, can't wait for the album, keep up the good work!
