Just another infinite soul in the body of a 20 something, standing at a precipice, guitar case in hand, with a calm exterior that belies the passionately whimsical and effortlessly determined siren beneath.
Lesha makes a point of peeling away layers to observe what lies beneath the surface. Which happens to be Love!
Armed with tactful grace and a meaningful glare, she questions all that is, and challenges anything that tries to deceive, in a quest to unravel enlightenment, to give truthfulness and an undeniable depth of heart through her music.
Since 2005 she has been working towards independently releasing her first studio recording and is now in the final stages of the colourful process she began in late 2008, working with Producer Jarrad Hearman on just a handful of tracks. Accompanied in the studio by talented fellow musicians; Stacey Gray of Trial Kennedy on lead guitar, and Shane Evans and Aryn Appleberry on drums and bass of Engine 3-7.
The writing process has been a stop and start adventure for Lesha while there have been creative road blocks, health risks, obstacles, heartbreaks and hiccups along the way. All of which have contributed to preparing her for what is set to come. She sees her musical work (and life) as a journey, each and every footstep carefully taken on purpose with an aim to deliver the clearest form of emotional and creative expression that resonates with her completely.
To first discover her true voice and source of inspiration, and to reach a level of professionalism and artistic clarity before embarking on what is set to be a life long beautiful relationship with her music, and with YOU! Needless to say, it has taken a very long time for understanding to present itself and for this journey to set sail!
Stay tuned in the coming months as her profile morphs into a whole new landscape. With new music, a new layout, a website, gigs, and an entirely new way of being connected with Lesha!
