Formed three years ago as a "guitar wielding techno act" (Time Out), Les Hommes Du Train has concentrated on live club performances, rather than record releases.
In their more club friendly version, they have played regularly as a duo or trio in venues and festivals such as Latitude, Encompass, Batofar (Paris),Cargo, Bar Music Hall, The Social, ICA, National Film Theatre, The Tate, So British Music Festival (France), De La Warr Pavilion, Point Ephemere (Paris), The Key, Institute Francais, Roundhouse, Vibe and The Spitz and more.
At full strength, the band is a electronic live soundsystem and the full collective line-up has included up to seven members with Ben Osborne on guitar, decks and laptop, Adam Barry on bass and decks, Ian Watson playing trumpet, Ali Friend on bass, the Delta Rhythm duo on beats and effects and Chris Coco manipulating cdjs. By way of contrast, in the studio the band is reduced to one. |
