About me:

Good friends, good wine, good food. Love my husband and son. Life is good.

I've been living in Italy since 2000 when I met my husband (online). Check out my Merano photo album for photos of our beautiful city.

I'm raising a son who will soon speak 3 languages (I'd better catch up). I live in an area where there are two intermingled cultures: Italian and German. I am one of only two people I know who owns a dryer. I love the sound of a prosecco cork popping. I roll my eyes at long rambling messages left on my answering machine. I get seafood for free from my husband's fish shop. My hair is going grey and I don't care (well, maybe a little). My son thinks I am the President. I prefer stability to thrills. I try not to let other people's monkeys jump on my back. I haven't found any of my chakras, but would like to someday. I am brave enough to leave my country and start a new life in Italy, but I still get shy in MySpace group threads.

Who I'd like to meet:

A passionate Italian chef who excels at "cucina povera" to come run our restaurant.

My doppelganger.

Anyone who can make me laugh (which isn't hard to do).
