Sounds Like
There's only one voice like mine on the planet ;-)
There’s a tattoo on Leslie Craig’s arm. It’s a flaming heart with the words “Music = Passion = Life” written on it. “That pretty much sums it up for me,” says the singer/songwriter, who’s been singing since the age of 17. “Everyone in my family is very artistic....my sister has been an actress, my brother is a painter and musician, my Mom has a beautiful voice, she sounds like Doris Day! In fact, everyone in my family can sing, including my Dad.”
Leslie’s family moved around a lot when she was a kid, spending most of the time in the East. She grew up listening to her parents’ and siblings’ record collections, which accounts for her wide ranging musical influences. A glimpse at her iPod reveals that she listens to everything from Ella Fitzgerald to U2, Steely Dan, Keith Urban, and everything in between. Leslie recently relocated to Nashville from the Midwest, where she spent several years singing in cover bands.
Although Leslie considers herself a singer first and a songwriter second, she does enjoy writing and describes her music as a hybrid of country with a lot of rock and soul mixed in. “Banjo is my absolute favorite, but I also like to hear a pedal steel where you wouldn’t expect it to be.” Leslie’s voice has all the soul of Aretha, the earthiness of John Mellancamp, and the sweetness of Trisha Yearwood...but she also has an element that can’t be described. When she’s on stage, it’s evident that this is what she was born to do. “Music is like breathing to me, it’s the only thing–other than my faith–that I know I could not live without.”
With her talent, she’ll never have to.

May Jesus always touch your heart May your blessings be fruitfull May you always notice the small things in life For they are most important. Happy Thanksgiving Miss Leslie God bless & take careJenny
Among all the colors that stretch from sea to sea, I find my friend sitting somewhere between blue and green. Her heart is full of passion of the likes you’ve never seen. Her laughter is contagious and her smile a mystery. She doesn’t understand how beautiful her touch. I wonder if she knows she is loved so much. She doesn’t really see all the colors she paints for me, but that just makes her more precious… you see. On the canvas of her life she splashes her many shades, like a hug around my shoulders or a whisper of grace. What a wonderful heart, I’ll hold to the end. What a talented artist… my friend.

This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back. Forward this on and back. Thanks! If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you and share with you its beauty On the days you're feeling blue. If I could build a mountain You could call your very own; A place to find serenity, A place to be alone. glitter-graphics.com If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea, But all these things I'm finding are impossible for me.
