    Imagine if Janis Joplin were alive today and able to metamorph into a Nashville artist singer songwriter writing honestly about love, loss, lust and the challenges of everyday life, add a half cup of Patty Griffin and a tablespoon of Melissa Etheridge and you have Leslie Dysinger. Leslie grew up singing in a Southern church since the age of 12 but she didn't begin her music career until 1992 when she decided to move to Memphis, TN. While in Memphis Leslie began writing songs and discovering her musical independence. Leslie and guitarist Jody Swanner decided to form a group called "Undecided". Over the course of four years, "Undecided" played the Memphis bar scene and became the regular weekend house band for Denim and Diamonds, Hwy. 51 Bar & Grill as well as Buffalos South. The group also frequently haunted Alfreds on Beale St. and played local festivals in the Memphis area. In 1998 Leslie moved back to Nashville to pursue her career as a songwriter. After a few years of experiencing more of "life's challenges", in 2005 she began focusing her creativity on songwriting, she then met Andrew Mrosla, a transplant from Washington via Boston where he studied guitar at Boston College and graduated with top honors. The pair have since been writing and performing in Nashville, Atlanta, Knoxville, Huntsville, Memphis, Missouri, Lexington, Louisville and all kinds of little towns all over the South since 2006 as an accoustic duo. In 2009 they teamed up with Chris McLean, former drummer of Without Adam and they loved the feel of the "band" setting and added Will Chandler on bass to create a rockin, high energy sound with each member lending their individual flare. They have been touring the Southeast as The Leslie Dysinger Band since 2009.
