Romance writing. Napping. Sitting at the dinner table and looking around at the four faces I love most in the world. Playing with my fuzzy puppy dogs. Kissing my husband. Playing cutthroat games of Masterpiece or Sorry with my girls. Going on wickedly romantic getaways with Bruce.

Music
I have truly varied tastes in music. I can listen to almost anything with the exceptions of country and opera. I love Broadway, but also am a huge fan of classic rock.
Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is a song I always turn to to put me in the mood to write some pounding, pulsing scene!
Movies
I'm a movie fanatic--love a good movie, even though I drive myself (and everyone around me) crazy by being able to spot plot twists (or plot holes) way in advance. I pegged Sixth Sense and The Village within the first few minutes, and I almost always know the villain long before the ending. I just think like a writer and have a hard time NOT analyzing what I'm seeing and plotting it out in my head. If a movie can actually surprise me, I consider it a good one. Other than that, I like everything except chick flicks or films that are the equivalent of Oprah books. Some of my favorites of all time include A Fish Called Wanda, Jaws, Rocky Horror Picture Show and A Christmas Story.
Television
I loved Heroes but it's losing me this season. Adore Reaper, Supernatural, My Own Worst Enemy, Chuck. I also really like CSI (the original) Desperate Housewives, Lost, Cold Case, Rescue Me, Criminal Minds. You will never catch me watching a movie on Lifetime.
Books
A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, It by Stephen King, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Nifeneger, Lamb by Christopher Moore, The Cabinet of Curiosities by Preston & Child, the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, Lady Be Good by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Mystery by Peter Straub. No Oprah books. Ever.

Who I'd like to meet: Well, having met my number one and number two fantasy guys (Bruce Kelly and Hugh Jackman, in that order) I'd have to say I'd like to meet Christopher Moore, who writes wickedly funny, irreverent, insanely entertaining books. Or Stephen King, who I consider one of the most brilliant writers of the 20th century. Or John Irving, another of the most brilliant writers of the 20th century. Or William Shakespeare, the most brilliant writer of any century. Hmm...funny how all my choices have been hot guys or writers.
