Influences
I grew up in the 1980ies and so I love listening to the music of those days, mainly to Minimal Electronics, Synthie-Pop, New Romantic, New Wave, Industrial and Experimental/Avantgarde - to name a few labels nowadays in use to classify independent music. Anyway, to list a few of my very very favourite bands, who all have a defintive impact on my musical thinking in a more or less explicit way, here they are: 400 Blows, A Blaze Colour, Absolute Body Control, Art of Noise, Blancmange, Chrome, Coil, Crash Course In Science, Damon Edge, De Fabriek, DIN A Testbild, DZ Lectric, El Aviador Dro, Esplendor Geometrico, Experimental Products, Geile Tiere, Grauzone, Helios Creed, H.N.A.S., Heaven 17, Hunting Lodge, Ian North, Ice The Falling Rain, Indochine, Informatics, Jad Wio, Jeff & Jane Hudson, John Bender, John Foxx, KAS Product, Kissing The Pink, La Nuit, Liaisons Dangereuses, Malaria, Magazine, Martin Dupont, Matthias Schuster (greetings!), Neon, No More, Nocturnal Emissions, Nurse With Wound, Nuvo Bloc, OMD, OTO, P1/E, Rational Youth, Rescue One, Richard Bone, Schleimer K., Secession, Second Decay, Severed Heads, Shoc Corridor, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Skinny Puppy, Soft Cell, Soma Holiday, Sonic Youth, Suicide, Testcard F, The Creatures, The Danse Society, The Fast Set, The Gadgets, The Human League, The Neon Judgement, The Proximate Force, The Residents, Tödliche Doris, Trisomie 21, Twice A Man, Valek, Vice Versa, Vicious Pink, Xmal Deutschland, Zero Kama ... ah, there are so many to name, that I will continue this list in the near future. -tbc-

Biography Err, yes at the moment I post here the - very - short version of how things developed. As time will pass I will be more precise, please forgive me for the brief and humble listing. I, Tiret, was surrounded and inspired by music my whole life, from the beginnings in my childhood through my roaring club life till now. Deeply influenced by the music of the 1980ies and especially the so called New Wave scene I formed around 1989 together with two friends my first band and it was named in relation to Dante Alighieris La Divina CommediaLa Passion Beatrice. I was chiefly interested in synth programming, while the other two were concerned with drums and vocals. Looking back we did much wierd music using Amiga and tracker programs and other stuff, not to mention a Korg M1 later on. However, this project didn't last for long, but we managed it to record 13 K7s. I left the band in 1991 to break new ground. In 1994 I met a musician from Dortmund in a club, where he and a friend were searching for a new keyboarder. We had a long talk and many drinks and thereafter my former girlfriend and I woke up being members of the odd Industrial band Scoria Head, which was somehow effective. We did some gigs in Germany: Hagen, Düsseldorf, Krefeld, Bochum, etc. and had some releases mainly K7s. After I left the band the remaining members still toured for some time and had a couple of releases. I played a Yamaha DX7 and a Roland Juno 6 without Midi those days. But however I left the band in 1996 due to personal differencies and made a real big pause. The main point going back to my synths is based on my friendship to Andreas Sippel, co-founder and member of the well known band Second Decay. At first, only to buy a virtual analogue synth for my former girlfriend, I looked around and thought it a good idea to start anew. I bought bit by bit new equipment and built, configured and arranged my own studio, which is still in progress. In 2004 I formed Laténces Périodiques, which was joined by my companion in life, Deux-Points, in 2006, changing the name of the band into Les Sirènes Débrouillardes due to reconsidering musical orientation. Les Sirènes Débrouillardes started at the end of 2006 and brings together minimal electronics and classical New Wave soundscapes of the late 1970ies till the mid 1980ies, inspired by Latin rhythms and personal preferences for later music to a real unique sirenic sound. -tbc-
Many greetings, Tiret & Deux-Points
How sweet of you to say, my friends. I see you have very interesting taste in music, nice to see creative minds that think outside the box. I'll be putting up my newest song tomorrow, "I was Born with a Psychedelic Mind" ---Andi
