About me: Les Soeurs Tribales è la compagnia di danza fondata da Francesca Pedretti.
E’ il primo gruppo professionale italiano di Tribal Bellydance, una danza elegante e raffinata che fonde movimenti di danza orientale (danza del ventre), danza indiana, flamenco, danze del nordafrica e che ha nell’improvvisazione e nell’esecuzione in gruppo il suo tratto distintivo. Il termine Tribal, che deriva da tribe ovvero “gruppo” in inglese, esprime pienamente la filosofia che sta alla base di questa danza: l’interazione, fiducia e comunicazione attraverso il corpo sono elementi chiave della tribal bellydance.
Les Soeurs Tribales si distinguono nel panorama della danza orientale italiana per l’originalità e la ricerca del loro stile che include elementi di danza orientale, tribal bellydance, danza contemporanea e altro.
Les Soeurs Tribale hanno all’attivo due spettacoli teatrali
• Oriental Fusion® in collaborazione con la danzatrice Malika Ferhat e la Compañia de Baile Canelas. Spettacolo di danza orientale classica, folklore arabo, tribal bellydance, danza di fusione e di sperimentazione è andato in scena per la prima volta nel 2005.
Nel novembre 2006 è stato riproposto presso il Teatro della 14a di Milano.
Nel gennaio 2007 Oriental Fusion® ha registrato tutto esaurito per tre giorni al Teatro delle Erbe di Milano. Les Soeurs Tribales e Malika Ferhat sono state invitate come ospiti a radio DJ durante la trasmissione Pinocchio condotta da La Pina.
• Devota: Lo spettacolo esplora la devozione della danzatrice che si abbandona alla sua arte e attraverso di essa vive la propria esistenza. Questo sentimento viene esplorato in tutte le sue sfumature con il linguaggio della danza orientale, della tribal bellydance e della danza fusion, oscillando tra gioia ed eterna attesa, fra edonismo e amore, fra la vita e la morte, in un'atmosfera mistica che trascina lo spettatore in un inno alla bellezza e alla passione. Con Alessandra Centonze, Francesca Pedretti, Compagnia Danza Malika Ferhat e Les Soeurs Tribales.
Nel maggio 2007 Devota ha debuttato al Teatro delle Erbe di Milano con ampi consensi di critica e pubblico.
Nel marzo 2006, 2007, 2008 hanno partecipato come uniche ospiti italiane al Festival Italiano della Danza Orientale Stelle D’Oriente, l’evento più prestigioso di danza orientale che si è svolge annualmente a Torino.
Nel novembre 2007 e 2008 hanno ideato e promosso ETNOSFERA, Rassegna Internazionale di Danze Etniche di Espressione Contemporanea, in collaborazione con Malika Ferhat e Sabina Todaro. La rassegna ha visto partecipare danzatori e musicisti provenienti da USA, Egitto, Belgio, Portogallo, Italia, Gran Bretagna, Spagna.

Direttrice artistica e coreografa del gruppo è Francesca Pedretti.
Danzatrice eclettica ed originale, Francesca si è avvicinata alla danza mediorientale nel 1996.
Continua la sua formazione nella Tribal Style Bellydance con Wendy Allen e Carolena Nericcio (FCBD), Tribal Bellydance con Paulette Rees-Denis (Gypsy Caravan) e ha approfondito la Tribal Fusion Bellydance con Rachel Brice (The Indigo), Urban Tribal, Darshan, Geneva Bybee.
Nel 2005 ha fondato l’Atelier danze etniche Les Soeurs Tribales, di cui è direttrice artistica, e l’omonima troupe di danzatrici.
Le altre componenti della compagnia sono Cinzia Di Cioccio e Grazia Manetti danzatrici ed insegnanti. Hanno approfondito lo stile Tribal con Francesca Pedretti, Wendy Allen, Paulette Rees-Denis, Rachel Brice, Carolena Nericcio, Urban Tribal, Geneva Bybee, Darshan.
Les Soeurs Tribales is the dance group founded by Francesca Pedretti.
It is the first Italian Tribal Bellydance group with a very original style that mixes elements from Tribal bellydance and contemporary dance.
In March 2006, 2007, 2008 they were guest artists at the Italian festival of Oriental Dance Stelle D’Oriente, the most prestigious Oriental dance event, held every year in Turin.
In November 2007 and 2008 they created and promoted ETNOSFERA, the first International Exhibition on Contemporary Ethnic Dances, in cooperation with Malika Ferhat and Sabina Todaro. Dancers and musicians from the USA, Egypt, Belgium, Portugal, Italy and Great Britain took part in the event which was held in Milan.
Les Soeurs Tribale is now busy with two shows:
• Oriental Fusion® in cooperation with the dancer Malika Ferhat and the Compañia de Baile Canelas. A show on classical Oriental dancing, Arab folklore, tribal bellydance, fusion and experimentation dances, which made its debut in 2005.
In November 2006 it reached the Teatro della 14a in Milan.
In January 2007 Oriental Fusion® performed for three days at the Teatro delle Erbe in Milan and was all sold out. Les Soeurs Tribales, Malika Ferhat were guest artists at Radio DJ during the radio show Pinocchio hosted by La Pina.
• Devota: The show explores the devotion of the dancer who gives himself/herself totally to this art and that experiences his/her own life through dancing. This feeling is explored in all its forms and shapes through the language of Oriental dance, tribal bellydance and fusion dancing, swinging back and forth between joy and eternal expectations, between hedonism and love, between life and death, in a mystical atmosphere that carries the viewer into a celebration of beauty and passion. With Alessandra Centonze, Francesca Pedretti, Compagnia Danza Malika Ferhat and Les Soeurs Tribales.

Francesca Pedretti is the art director and choreographer of the group.An original dancer, Francesca stepped into the world of Oriental Dance in 1996.
She continued her training in Tribal Style Bellydance with Tribal Bellydance with Paulette Rees-Denis (Gypsy Caravan),Wendy Allen and Carolena Nericcio (FCBD), and studied Tribal Fusion Bellydance with Rachel Brice (The Indigo), Urban Tribal, Darshan, Geneva Bybee.
In 2005 she founded the ethnic dance Atelier, Les Soeurs Tribales. She is also the art director of this group.
The other members of the group are Cinzia Di Cioccio and Grazia Manetti dancers and teachers.
Les Soeurs Tribales are certified Level 2 with Gypsy Caravan
