Like when you're at a show and you get that feeling in your stomach cuz the sounds feel so right and your insides are about to have their own private orgasm; sort of like petting a puppy and a kitten at once. electric danceable mathy jam rockpop.
Sevendayweekend is an alternative rock band based out of Santa Barbara, California. Created in 2007 while attending the University of California at Santa Barbara, the band is the brainchild of singer/guitarist Daniel Melnick. Soon after the band's creation, bassist and college friend Robbie Revolver joined the group along with drummer Sammi Cohen. The band was nameless for its first few months until “sevendayweekend” was suggested- a reference to the New York Dolls song of the same title. The name instantly stuck partially due to the band's fierce reputation for partying and living the sevendayweekend lifestyle. The band started playing house shows in the college town of Isla Vista in late 2007 and has been playing shows in the Santa Barbara and Los Angeles area since then. During the band's development, they've teamed up with other artists including the national act, Mixi and local artist Sity Liphe. Now with plenty of experience under their belts and a new recording, E.Pidemic (2008), sevendayweekend is embarking on a journey to the top of the charts as they infect the indie music scene with their contagious lifestyle of dancing, partying, and fun.

Josh and Tim's side project playing hits from the 70's, along with a bunch of other bands. We've got some fun surprises for you. All proceeds go to the costs for Velvet Jones to become all-ages. I think we play around 10 PM. If you missed the 80's night, you really can't miss this one.
