Just me here going with the flow. I started this music myspace site on a suggestion from a represenative at the Ropeadope music company. It seems like the natural progression in the creative part of my life. Been writing poetry//lyrics for about 10 years and making beats on my Korg Triton for last 3 of them. I grew up in a very musical family and derived my love for all things music from them.
For the past 8 months have been helping take care of my mom. Prior 4 years have been teaching at 4H environmental education centers in Georgia and Wisconsin. Being the daytime caretaker for my mother has given me a new and very different outlook on reality and how our thoughts and intentions fuel everday life's direction on the path we have chosen for ourselves. This has also provided me with a lot of time to concentrate on music and other creative outlets that are my true passions. My music has been a very theraputic realease therapy that allows me to be myself without the confines of any predisposed subject matter. This page will also become part of that and I will be constructing my blogs in a similar manner. Main purpose is to expose people of this world to subject matter that may other wise be out of their reach.

Lester, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I can't imagine the loss after a lifetime with her and the suffering that became part of her physical being. The Buddha always said" life is suffering, and suffering is temporary". I think the end of suffering is always a gift, but that doesn't minimize the loss that one's heart may feel. I always like to think that loved ones passed would expect nothing other that continuance of passion and extension of what you've learned. You mother will be teaching you for a lifetime and I'm sure you'll recognize her along the way. I'm sure you mother learned from you also.
From mother to son, and son to mother...suffering is life...and love is none-other.. as long as you feel your heartbeat, your feet on the street, beneath your mother's eyes she told you life was sweet.. but she forgot to sometimes mention the hard parts..mothers are like that somtimes. They maximize the love and minimize the hurt. Heal the wounds and disguise the hurts. Can't deter the worst...intentions are pure...always wanting more. It's never more, and never less..it is what it is. For better or more...for rich of for poor, there's something in someone...and there's something more. Mama's love like Jesus did...Lifetimes of selfless, ending in helpless....to spin the wheel of karmic selfless....Less..lesss. Lest I remember, Lest I forget. LeStereo in time, LeStereo in rhyme....Mama smoothed the jagged edge and there's no better time than now!
