Letargy Dream is a Moscow-based band that was initially planned as a one-man band. After recording several successful demos, in 2006 with the help of the Russian label BadMoodMan the full material on DVD box-edition "Fragments of Memory" was issued in a limited edition of 100 copies. The album's main line is an Atmospheric Metal with Doom/Death elements; it has received positive reviews from listeners and press. The new record of the project has been produced by the end of 2008 with the participation of Progressive Death Metal band Beheaded Zombie, in particular: Crawler - guitars, programming and Vile - drums.

The new album is going to be released by the mentioned-above label in winter 2009. The Letargy Dream has shifted from the canons of slow melodic metal, introducing an interesting stylistic alloy of Doom/Death, Doom and Thrash Metal with Progressive and Psychedelic components.
Since Letargy Dream's music is almost experimental, nobody, even the band, knows what style of the next album will be. However, the passion to the progressive music wave will undoubtedly effect further releases of the project. Moreover, the participation of the above mentioned musicians has finally made the project to move out from only studio mode and to continue rehearsals with the further intention to give concerts in the Russian Federation.


Album "The Fragments of Memory" (2006) presents atmospheric doom-death with lyrics in Russian. Unlike in demo-recording "Breath of Deceased" (2003) and other, now heavy guitar riffs dominate in music and growlings are activly used.
A new work of the project Letargy Dream "2" (2008) who became a full line-up band from a one-man-band. Here Letarg has united with musicians from Beheaded Zombie and Nabaath. Including three tracks with the total of 50 minutes, the album shows Letargy Dream to us from a new side, a new rising of the band in the ways of dark metal, doom/death metal and death metal with riffs familiar for traditional doom metal!
