Metal. Musical Genre extremely heavy, popularly speaking. Talking about this music style, which as few walks between worlds of grotesque in a prehistoric level - and as refined as JAZZ - heavy would be a poor adjective. Smashing force, certainly is a better expression, to start talking about Metal and thus associate it to LETHAL VIRUS, band created at Recife, April 2000, by: Hugo Medeiros (electricguitar) and Eddie Cheever (electric bass), the only survivals from its various formations. The band’s sound is straight, with acid riffs, true hits, excellent bass lines and killing vocals. Its influences go through these styles: Thrash, Death, Black, Heavy, Hardcore and Rock! These guys prove by themselves that they leave nothing to desire for those who understand the subject and besides being excellent musicians, they have great mutation capability, like a powerful virus, as they transit through paralell projects purelly opposites and experimentalists. This "premature" and consistent band just couldn’t be miss the most respectable music events from Recife and near towns. It has two demos: "Infectus" and "Venous Reflex of the Existence". LETHAL VIRUS trully represents Metal music from Pernambuco and show how they distinguish from the other bands - something that many try and frustrate themselves - simply for not being able to walk with their own legs. Metal, gênero musical extremamente pesado, popularmente falando. Tratando-se de tal estilo, que como poucos caminha entre os mundos do grotesco a nível pré-histórico e refinamento no patamar do jazz, pesado, seria um adjetivo pobre. Força esmagadora, certamente são expressões melhores, para começar a falar de metal e logo associá-lo ao LETHAL VIRUS, banda que foi criada em Recife Abril de 2000, por: Hugo Medeiros (guitarra) e Eddie Cheever (baixo), únicos sobreviventes de suas variantes formações. Seu som é certeiro, com riffs ácidos, verdadeiras pancadas, ótimas linhas de baixo e um vocal matador. Suas influências que passam pelas vertentes: Thrash, Death, Black, Heavy, Hardcore e Rock! Provam por si só, que nada deixam a desejar a quem entende do assunto e que além de serem ótimos músicos, possuem grande capacidade de mutação, digno de um vírus potente, pois transitam em projetos paralelos puramente opostos e experimentalistas. Sendo assim, banda tão "prematura" e consistente não poderia deixar de participar dos mais respeitáveis eventos do Recife e arredores. A banda possui duas demos: "Infectus" e "Venous Reflex of the Existence". LETHAL VIRUS, representam dignamente o metal pernambucano e mostram como atravessam a fina malha para se destacarem entre as demais, ação que muitos tentam, mas se frustram, simplesmente por não conseguirem andar com as próprias pernas.
