About me: I was born and raised in Williamsport, PA (Home of Little League Baseball). I moved to California in the 80’s where I met my husband of 13 years. In July of 2007 I found a lump under my breast that turned out to be breast cancer and had a lumpectomy. Just four months later, cancer was discovered again resulting in my choosing to have a double mastectomy. I have lost many members of my family to cancer. My Father died of lung and brain cancer and in 2008 after a lengthy battle, my baby brother died of renal cancer also known as kidney cancer. I am also a survivor of domestic violence. I want to share stories of my life to help and inspire others. Another important fact is that I love martinis, ice cream (chocolate of course), and peanut butter. According to the Bible love is such a paramount issue in the mind of God, when one of the Pharisees asked Jesus to name the greatest commandment of all time, He said: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40).
Think about that! According to Jesus, the command of love is so vital that the entire Word of God—from the Creation account in Genesis to the Amen at the end of Revelation—hangs on it. Love is literally the ultimate spiritual law. All the operations of God’s kingdom function in accordance with it, and no one on earth is exempt from it. Thank so much for the add. My wife will be a 4 yr survivor in feb. I am building this truck to honor her and every other woman who has had to fight breast cancer. Every woman gets a ribbon, and every ribbon gets a name. Survivor or not, If they had Breast Cancer they get a ribbon.
