Years ago, in a bedroom far far away (or maybe right around the corner) two guys discovered they could turn out some decent songs. From these humble beginnings Stand Alone was born.
Since then the band has been through twists and turns, crashes and reincarnations, but has re-emerged as what you see here. Those two guys are still playing, Phil on lead guitar and vocals, Shaun still writing songs and playing bass, and have been joined by Ian on guitar and Twistie-Tie on drums.
As of now Stand Alone is perfecting their existing songs and developing some new ones. They played their first show in June at the Rialto Theatre and are planning for future shows.
The original EP/Demo album, "Wishing on Satellites", was recorded at a pro studio in 2003. There was no official release, though, as we never found a label or distributor. Three of the four songs have been included in the MySpace player. "Wishing on Satellites" featured guest musicians Petie Ronstadt and Bryan Matyjasik.
