   About Letters in Red
Letters in Red are Rachel Sparx (vocals), Will Binden (guitar, mandolin & piano), Camilla Wilson (violin) & Christopher Wood (guitar & percussion). Based in Liverpool they write, perform and record their own music. Mixing a wide variety of influences such as pop, indie, folk, classical, soul & electronica, Letters in Red’s songs reflect on love, loss and life.

The band members came formed after working on various other musical projects together: Will met Rachel working on the music production for the short film Celebrations for Breaking Routine by American artist Kristin Lucas, premiered at FACT in Liverpool and since exhibited internationally; Camilla and Will performed in the contemporary classical collective Strange Brood as well as appearing on Christopher Wood's album Memory Burn.

Letters in Red have been gigging in and around Liverpool since January 2008 & run their own acoustic music showcase, Homegrown. Amongst other achievements the group were awarded the honour of up & coming band of the year at the Liverpool Irish Festival 2008. Letters in Red have a bi-monthly residency at Stamps, Liverpool & have been invited to play at MTV Liverpool Music Week, Liverpool Gig Guide Festival, Crosby Music Festival, L1 Festival & the Liverpool Fringe Festival.

Letters in Red are currently in the process of recording their debut album Everything Crash which they plan to release through their own record label Homegrown Records.

Letters in Red have been played on the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast Show 85 - Stone the crows - which has four songs linked in one way or another with crows. It's not quite a themed show because the rest of the songs have nothing at all to do with crows! The one thing all the songs have in common is that they are great acoustic tracks from UK artists. 'Nuff said...

Follow the link above to this specific show or the link below to the general shownotes page. The show is free to listen to, and you can get it either by using the online player or by downloading the mp3 file. And why not subscribe and get each new episode automatically?
