About Letters Make Words

Letters Make Words is unique by today's standards of alternative rock/pop. You will likely hear their high-powered, energetic music on an alternative rock or genuine rock-n-roll radio station. Formed by sisters Naomi and Nadia Zep, Letters Make Words is known for their sophsticated and hooky songwriting, featuring dueling and harmonizing vocals that will catch you by surprise. In addition to the sisters, the band also features Justin Stunich on lead guitar and Corey Supp on drums; and the combination is fun, engaging, and easy to listen to.

Letters Make Words released their first disc, The Analog EP in 2007 on 7th World Studios / WiN Records, produced by Paul W. Draper, of 'Sleepers' fame, and are currently recording their sophomore release, also produced by Mr. Draper, with Tim Mooney (Sleepers, American Music Club) engineering at Closer Studios, SF.

Listeners will appreciate songs like "Don't Close Your Eyes" and "My Reasoning" from their debut album, as well as the newest tunes "Photograph," "Love" and "Know," which will be featured on their new album.

With help from their dual management team, Letters Make Words have been getting some great media attention and exposure in the past year. In August 2008, Letters Make Words participated in the San Jose edition of Your Music Olympicks, presented by Your Music Magazine, in which sisters Naomi and Nadia placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Vocalist Competition, and were featured on KSCU radio. They were also featured as one of the five Bands To Know in the July issue of Fringe Magazine, based out of Sacramento. The band is planning to expand into other markets as they play various venues throughout Northern California and beyond, as they promote their upcoming CD release.
