About me: I had previously posted here that i had never been abused and that i didnt know anyone who had been abused. I recently learned, after 20 years, that when i was very young my mothers friends child was beaten to death. He was born 2 months after i was and was murdered when i was 2 years old. Hes buried in the town i live in, in a place called the childrens garden. The man responsible was released from prison when i was around 15 years old, i believe. So few years for taking a young life. My very being aches at the slightest thought of a child being abused in any way. I cannot even begin to want to imagine or understand how or why someone could harm something so small, sweet and loving. I realize I'm only one person, but, one person can do alot with willpower and some love. They say God made babies cute so thier parents will be more compelled to protect them. Well, apparently some were skipped by this department during assembly. I have a daughter and she is the very reason i wake and breathe. I cannot go one day without looking into her huge blue eyes and seeing her contagious smile. She makes everything better at the end of a bad day.
