I LOVE GOD AND HIS WORD "THE BIBLE". MY FAVORITE TEACHERS/PREACHERS ARE: MY HUSBAND CHRIS DE LUNA, JOHN PIPER, JOHN MACARTHUR JR., R.C. SPROUL, PAUL WASHER. I LOVE REFORMED THEOLOGY!
My favorite saying is this: "GOD IS MOST GLORIFIED IN YOU WHEN YOU ARE MOST SATISFIED IN HIM", John Piper. "Because what you are most satisfied in, what ever you put most value in, what ever you enjoy the most in your life, even what ever you spend most of your time thinking of, "IS" what you glorify.

The Lord has changed my life! He changed my desires, my way of thinking, even the goals I had in life took a drastic turn. In 1996 I read a scripture, Matthew 16:26, comming from the lips of JESUS, "FOR WHAT WILL IT PROFIT A MAN IF HE GAINS THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSES HIS SOUL?, OR WHAT WILL A MAN GIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR HIS SOUL?" Everything changed after that. I could not understand, but I could not deny what this meant. Here I was, trying to be rich and famous, having all the fans, all the popularity, but in exchange for what? My soul? That is all it took, me reading that scripture, for God to open my eyes to the vanity of this world and my self-centeredness, which says everything is about me and if I am happy nothing else matters. For the next three years, I continued my career touring with big bands in the Mexican-regional category like: Intocable, Liberacion, Tigres Del Norte, etc. Yet, I was still miserable! I would ask myself, "Why, if I have what I've always wanted?" I realized through God's grace that I could have everything in this world but their was still a void in my heart that could only be filled by God Himself. I would reason within myself and say, "I love Jesus!", "I know who He is!", "I go to church once in a while!", "I believe He died for us and rose again!",
"I believe all that!". But one day, God showed me that I didn't know Him. You see, Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord', will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." In verse 23 He also said, "And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you...." You see my friend, anyone can know all these things and believe them, like I did, but not everyone will take Him at His Word. Not everyone will obey His commandments and surrender their lives to JESUS CHRIST, much less say to Him "Not my will, but Yours be done." In 1999, the drummer in my band Chris De Luna, who is now my husband, and I gave our lives to JESUS, and only because of His grace, He opened our eyes to the truth and caused us to repent. I used to say "I'll never become a boring Christian." But now I say, "This is the best life I could ever have." I have been born again, washed by the blood of the Lamb! And no, I am by no means perfect, although my husband thinks I am (just kidding). But what I do know, is that I've been forgiven and He has promised me eternal life with Him, John 3:1-21. My dear friends, it is my prayer that God moves in your heart and causes you to seek Him the way He did us. And for those who know Him already, that He will put a burning desire in your hearts to live a life that is pleasing to Him, which will in turn give you fullness of joy.

Hi Letty, I know you rarely check this thing anymore...but, I wanted to thank Mr. & Mrs. Pastor :) for all the work they do. Haven't had a chance to say it, as we are all busy busy bees. I'm so excited for this church, it's growing so rapidly!
