LEUJI TIENT PARTICULIEREMENT A REMERCIER : Jean-marc Labbé pour son sax sur la démo, Alex D-light pour ses photos, ses beaux éclairages et son amitié, Alain Bonis et Valérie Cuscito / Nikon_Nisoumise pour leurs photos, et l'équipe de "La Batterie" de Guyancourt.
Après un millier de concerts et 7 albums en tant que bassiste-compositeur au sein de formations comme "DIRTY DISTRICT" ou "P18", Gilles (a.k.a LEUJI) forme son propre one man band fin 2006.Décidé à faire vivre ses compositions avec de vrais musiciens en les agrémentant de samples omniprésents, il s'entoure de Pat à la batterie, Stéphane à la guitare et Sarah au chant.Les influences musicales se trouvent mêlées de différentes origines, le fond restant globalement axé sur une direction définitivement établie : le groove-rock.
LEUJI s'approprie les règles du genre pour mieux les transgresser en épiçant son mix de boucles électros, opérant un grand écart parfaitement réussi entre fusion survitaminée et rock fiévreux.
A priori un grand bestiaire sonore, mais force est de constater que ça fonctionne !

Gilles (a.k.a LEUJI), the bass player, has performed in no less than one thousand concerts and has recorded seven albums with several bands such as "DIRTY DISTRICT" and "P18". He created his own 'one man band' at the end of the year 2006. Determined to have his compositions played by talented musicians and to enliven them with omnipresent samples, he dragged Pat (drums), Stéphane (guitar) and Sarah, the singer.Though their various backgrounds create mixed influences, the core of their music follows a definitively established direction, 'groove-rock'. LEUJI appropriate the rules of the genre in order to better break it. By spicing their mix with electronic loops, they create a well executed gap between high-energy fusion and rock fever. A priori it's an incredible bestiary sound.
Nevertheless, it works without a doubt !
