Leütenhaven was originally formed in Trondheim in 1996 by Magnus Karlsen and Øystein Bendos Aune. After several years of rehearsals, gigs, expanding and decreasing the line-up and the release of an EP, the band moved down to Oslo and reformed. Turning their noses away from the norwegian pothole and mundane fascination with indie-rock, the music is now more electronicly driven, bulding on italo-disco, electronica and pop.
