Level 7

Bio:

LEV-EL-7 ..’le-vl..’se-vn..noun

1: a group or unit creating and performing music together under a common purpose – to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in our lives.  2:  body of people chosen by God for His service or ministry.  3:  a band made into full completion by God, thus “7”.

Formation of Level 7

The ability to participate in music production is an immeasurable gift from God.  Excluding time, money, and effort, God gave us healthy bodies and a purposeful life.  Therefore, in response to our Lord Jesus’ love, Level 7 has decided to offer our creativity and lives to Him.

Joyce and Jon, siblings, had a vision for spreading the story of Jesus through original and youthful music.  After prayers, they sought their long lost bandmates – Garvin and Jason, and agreed upon this vision.  Their reformation concluded with an interesting mix of different styles and techniques separately accumulated over the years.  Along with Grace, whom Joyce and Jon met at a winter conference, Level 7 was formed in January 2001.  After struggling for a while without a lead vocalist, Clara – referred by Grace – joined Level 7 in winter 2002. Honorable mention of supporting member Rex Tang on bass.

Today, all Level 7 members are each pursuing their careers but still dedicate time and passion for music.
