From the outer suburbs of Newcastle, Australia, Level 8 is a 4 piece outfit that formed in the winter of 2006. Being inspired by great Australian bands such as Cog and Karnivool, we worked hard promoting our original sound described as hard rock with a diverse mix of heavy riff groove fused with melodic layers. The past two years has produced ever evolving creativity and song writing, leading to the release of our debut EP (All That's Left to Question) through indie label Reign Records & distributed through MGM.
The debut release was a great achievement for the band selling out of it's first pressing in two months, and saw the band win best heavy song award for the track 'sold and discarded' at the 2008 ABC Newcastle music awards.
Live performances & touring are a major priority to the band as we try to increase our ever growing fan base, having played alongside the like of Mammal, Dead Letter Circus and Newcastle legends The Screaming Jets. Level 8 are Chris Hix (drums) Mick Gray (guitar) Brendon Lord (Vox) Ben Rudder (Bass)

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
