Level SD tries to steer away from the cookie cutter music scene where every band seems to merge into one big cluster f*** of boring, overused chord progressions and stale vocals. They aim to change all of that. They want to stand out and stick in your brain with the messages and ideals they convey through melodic, yet rock solid, sound.
They are the new, harder-rock, driven by unrelenting guitar riffs, furious, angst-ridden vocals, punk-influenced drums, and solid bass lines that have been taking Pittsburgh by storm ever since.

"Baby Mikey" McCully is the recipient of this year's Annual Rock for Life Benefit Concert, now in its ninth year. Baby Mikey, of McIntyre, PA, was born three months premature on February 8 of this year due to a condition known as Periocardial Effusion, an abnormal accumulation of fluid around the heart. The very next day Baby Mikey underwent heart surgery to correct the problem, and with only a 25% chance of success, he is currently undergoing regular treatments to make sure he comes out of this medical condition on the winning end.
