Apostolos Leventopoulos started his musical education at the age of nine, studying piano for about seven years. He later switched on guitar, studying at Synxrono Odeion and Agostini Music School in Thessaloniki. He won a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where he studied guitar with John Thomas, Ritchie Hart, John Pezanelli, Mick Goodrick, Jon Damian, Garrison Fewell, improvisation with Ed Tomassi, George Garzone, Tiger Okoshi, Jeff Galindo, theory and composition with Steve Rochinski, Ken Pullig, arranging with Ben Elkins, Scott Free, and others. He graduated in 2001 (Bachelor in Jazz Performance - Dean's List), and participated in the group that represented Berklee College at Berklee International Network that same year.
He has played with many well known greek and international jazz musicians (Sean Corby, Marek Patrman, Erik Vermeulen, Jason Yarde, Giorgos Kontrafouris, Sofia Noiti, Takis Paterelis, Dimitris Vassilakis and others), in various funk and jazz bands, and has performed in festivals and clubs in many cities all over Greece and abroad (Olympus Festival 2007 & 2006, Oriente Occidente Festival 2005 Trento Italy, IX Festival International de Danca Contemporanea 2005 Faro Portugal, Mostra Sesc de Artes Mediterraneo Festival 2005 Sao Paulo Brazil, European Music Day 2005 Athens, Biennale 2004 Lyon France, Kumanovo Jazz Festival 2004 Fyrom, Festival of the Sea 2004 Xalkidiki, European Music Day 2004 Athens, Arts Festival 2004 Singapore, Dimitria 2003 Thessaloniki, Ethnic Festival 2003 Leykada, International Jazz Festival 2003 Ioannina, European Jazz Festival 2003 Athens, e.t.c.).
He has collaborated with the Greek National Theatre, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, Konstantinos Rigos, and the dance theatre group Oktana, composing and performing music in the dance theatre play ''Swan Lake City''. Since 2003 he lives in Athens, playing with various bands and teaching guitar and music theory.
On 2006-2007 he worked with a 7-piece orchestra on "Little Shop of Horrors", a musical show based on the classic cult film..

Το Σάββατο 10 Οκτωβρίου παίζουμε στο ΚΥΤΤΑΡΟ (το τελευταίο λάιβ μας στην Αθήνα για το 2009) με κομμάτια «εφ’ όλης της ύλης» αλλά και με καινούργια, ανέκδοτα τραγούδια που κατόπιν θα μπούμε να ηχογραφήσουμε
ΠΕΤΡΟΣ ΤΟΥΡΤΟΥΡΗΣ: Την Τρίτη 14 του Ιούλη το απόγευμα χάσαμε και τον Πέτρο... Στην Εγνατία μετά το Αλκαζάρ- έπεσε με τη μηχανή σε λακκούβα -έργα μετρό- χτύπησε με προπορευομενο αυτοκίνητο και έπεσε στη λεωφορειολωρίδα. Το λεωφορείο -που ποτέ δεν είναι στην ώρα του- βρέθηκε εκεί. Ένα ακόμα "ατύχημα"... Το δεύτερο στο ίδιο σημείο σε 15 μέρες... Δεκαπέντε μέρες πριν ήταν μαζί μας στην Κρήτη, όπως και πέρσι. Ταμένος φίλος του Κώστα από την εποχή των μαθητικών καταλήψεων στις Συκιές, συγκλονισμένος από το δικό του "ατύχημα" έφυγε ή μάλλον διώχτηκε βίαια κι αυτός στα τριάντα τρία του. Κι αυτός στο κέντρο της πόλης. Λέμε πως πρέπει να σπάσουμε τον κύκλο της σιωπής και της ανωνυμίας που μας επιβάλλει ο καθωσπρεπισμός και τα συμφέροντα των ΜΜΕ. -ΔΕΝ ΥΠΑΡΧΟΥΝ ΤΡΟΧΑΙΑ ΑΤΥΧΗΜΑΤΑ. -ΥΠΑΡΧΟΥΝ ΜΟΝΟ ΑΤΙΜΩΡΗΤΕΣ ΔΟΛΟΦΟΝΙΕΣ ΣΤΗΝ ΑΣΦΑΛΤΟ. -ΝΑ ΟΡΓΑΝΩΣΟΥΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΟΡΓΗ ΜΑΣ. Το καθαρό του βλέμμα και το ίσιο δυνατό κορμί του μας επιβάλει παρ όλο τον πόνο να σταθουμε και μείς έτσι: όρθιοι και καθαροί, να μη ξεχάσουμε αλλά και να μην αφήσουμε αναπάντητες αυτές τις δολοφονίες.
