our album Qualia. We have nothing to do with such thieves. You are
welcome to buy directly
good quality mp3 from our website. Hardcopies of the CD can also be
found either from our website or from retailers. Although we fight
against this piracy, we feel no friendship for the majors who are
still selling CDs the same high prices as 20 years ago, while giving
ridiculous dividends to most of their bands. Majors are fighting for a
business and do not care about music. We care about music, as you do,
so if you like our albums and wish to support us, buy our CD. All the
money we get is used to release the next album.

Nous ne souscrivons pas à ces pratiques qui sont aussi malhonnêtes vis à vis du public que de nous. Les mp3 que nous proposons à la vente sur notre site sont compressés à la meilleure qualité possible. Nous invitons donc ceux d'entre vous que cela intéresserait à se fournir directement auprès du producteur ! Si nous trouvons déplacée la campagne de répression anti-téléchargement initiée par les maisons de disques qui sont encore loin de subir des pertes, ce n'est pas le cas de tous les groupes auto-produits, dont nous sommes. Comprenez bien, si vous aimez notre musique, que c'est en l'achetant auprès de nous (ou des vendeurs, avec qui nous travaillons) que vous pouvez nous soutenir et contribuer à faire en sorte que le prochain album puisse voir le jour.
Quant aux sites qui proposent des téléchargements gratuits avec l'argument que cela nous ferait de la pub, nous répondons que s'ils avaient pris la peine de nous contacter, nous leur aurions expliqué comment nous gérons notre promotion. De larges extraits de nos titres sont disponibles à l'écoute sur notre myspace, notre site internet et de nombreuses radios - dont certaines en ligne - dans le monde entier.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, it is greatly appreciated! I understand that touring a country like Australia could be quite an expensive and ultimately fruitless venture. It seems all too apparent to me that these days, truly unique artists tend to have the most trouble sharing the beauty of their art. To cut a very long and probably all too familiar story short, I find it quite disappointing that your music should be considered on the "fringe", or outside the norm.
I listen to your music quite often and it never fails to hit a nerve, leaving me feeling empowered and amazed at the world around me. With a few very precisely chosen notes and rhythms, you leave me with a tear or two in my eyes. Not out of frustration, anger or sadness, but out of awe of the beauty that may be wrought through what some may call "a bunch of senseless noise".
I hope to someday be fortunate enough to experience Syrinx live, and if I do I would definatly include it amongst the highlights of my life. Please keep up the amazing work, and if all goes well I'll see you in France sometime!!
