the HOOKER MAN - Slide, Standard and Aucoustic guitar, singer, writer of songs and muppet extrodinar. This man has been playing guitar for over 30 years and it shows in all areas. He can read a crowd better than most. It's a hoot to work with him and watch how he gets the crowd to lay so comfortably in the palm of his hand. His voice can be sultry when he chooses, and he can growl like no other.
LEVI ROSE - Vocals, percussion, guitar, song writer. She can walk you down a country lane and take you straight into a tornado with her wide vocal range. A professional, working the booking, promo and everything else that needs to be done. A strong supporter of the local music scene. Must be why she's sometimes called "Mama Levi".
PAUL NEEB - Vocals, bass, song writer. He is seasoned, professional, fun, reliable and a joy to work with. Paul has been playing out for over 10 years. We are proud and honored to have him on board and apart of this wonderful experience. He makes it even better than we could have emagined.
JOHN KOHLOFF - Vocals, drums, guitar. John is a seasoned veteran, coming from a long line of musicians in his emediate and extended family tree. John has been with us for a year or so and we are blessed to have him on board. We are proud to be the "underlings" in his arsonal.
SCOTT TOLFREE - Sound & Stage Mng. "Scooter" is our rock. He has a natural ear for music and we are fortunate to have him with us. He takes some of the worst sound rooms and most all the time manages to make us sound great. Scooter has been with us for about 3, maybe 4 years now and we are grateful for all his hard work and patience with the likes of this crew.
Influences
Janis Joplin, Hendrix, John Lee Hooker, ZZ Top, Moody Blues, Queen, Allman Brothers, Freddie King, BB King, Etta James, Grace Slick, 4 non blondes, and more that I can't remember right now, but you get the picture. Oh, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, John Prime...and the list goes on, right?
Sounds Like
A great blues band that knows how to mix it up with some folk and a little rock. Always a good time had.
..
We are a hard working bunch in all areas of this endeavor. We LOVE to play our music and perform, really put it out there. We enjoy all music, but our hearts are in the blues mostly. We like to take our audiences away from the worries of the day and let them know that it's okay to kick back and relax for a four hour tour.
We are working on our second album. There might be some older blues pieces you might recognize. It's fun to take a tune by someone else and turn it into ours. We pride ourselves on this application.
It is our hope and dream to better ourselves financially and otherwise so that we are in a better position to help others all around the world and especially here in the states.
