I grew up in Los Angeles.., ..CA.... during the 80's and watched a lot of TV as a kid. I was a GATE student in the very first GATE class session in ....America..... I was the youngest of four kids. My brother and 2 sisters are over ten years older than myself and my father was already 45 years old when he had me, his only son. With my mom at age 32, I feel like I got the best of 4 generations, and am grateful for the culture and experience. I was a hyperactive kid with ADHD and Dyslexia that got in a ton of trouble, never got good grades but excelled in creativity. I was a natural leader, won many awards, and whatever sports team I played on always won (many times for the first time, however I was never the star athlete, just had the ability to pull people together and psych people up with my hyper-activity!! ha ha....Incidentally or Ironically...The first year that I went to work for the LA Dodgers (2003) we went to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years!! Coincidence? I told Shawn Green before a game as they we were singing the national anthem on the baseline that I would wear my ridiculous Dodgers Hawaiian shirt for the rest of the season if they won and that we would go to the playoffs, he said I was nuts!! He was probably right! but so was I!). ....
I won awards, trophies and medals for science fairs, art shows, speech tournaments, talent shows, Karate Tournaments, baseball, football, poetry, music performing and later in college for Broadcast Journalism and original music composition. I was signed twice to record contracts and once to a music publishing contract in my younger years, as a rap artist and performer. ....
I also used to invent games, and get my friends to play them. The most popular game that I invented is called MASH. Many of you have probably played it or at least heard of it. Using my last name as an acronym, that stands Mansion Apartment Shack and House. It's a fortune teller’s game! I do have a personal psychic these days and her name is Madame Rosinka. I highly recommend her to anyone who is serious. Her credits are long and she works with many rich and famous people, see her if you are ever in ....Santa Barbara..... ....
My father started recording my voice when I was about 3 years old, on a reel to reel, and he would play it back to me. By the time I was 5 I had a radio collection and could recite Casey Casem’s Top 40, and impersonate several Celebs. I started making news reports with my friends in 4th grade, scripting school plays and playing with the camcorder. By 7th grade, my friends and I found rap music, and started recording tracks. In 9th grade I pressed our first Record, and started Project Records. I signed several friends to my label and booked them to play high school events, car shows, and opening acts for Candy Man and Father MC, and rented the ....Santa Barbara.. ..County.... Fairgrounds to throw my own show. I toured the country performing and speaking at radio stations in 9th and 10th grade. ....
I owned and operated a fully functioning coffee house, called Skurvy's cafe, in Atascadero, CA at the age of 23, and was featured on the cover of New Times Magazine that same year, as San Luis Obispo North county New Businessman of the year. ....
My first round of college, was ..Bible.. ..College.., at ....Berean.. ..University.... from 1992-1995. I studied Theology and was Credentialed as a Certified Minister by the Southern California District of The Assemblies of God, and the State of ....California..... I left my music career, to pursue religion after my father died of a heart attack. I was 17 years old. ....
I re-entered college to learn TV and Broadcast journalism in 2003 at SBCC and UCSB in ....Santa Barbara.., ..CA..... I quickly excelled and found it to be my natural calling. I interned in the ABC newsroom at KEYT TV and went on to be an editor and camera man for the ....Los Angeles.... Dodgers 2003 and 2004 seasons. I kept pushing for on camera talent positions, but was placed in production over and over again. It became the greatest blessing ever, as I have now become incredibly efficient at both positions and proficient with today’s leading, state of the art, editing systems and software, and able to perform AND produce my entire TV show in post production. ....
On a personal note: I work around the clock, but as you can see by our tv show, it does not make me a dull boy! I stay positive, I believe in change and in hope. I believe in GOD, and keep a very personal relationship these days, but I think I have grown up to understand him in a whole new way. I see him in everything and in every culture and practice. I think that God is the very existence of positive energy, Love, Hope, Beauty, Truth, Wisdom, Honesty, Struggle, Compassion, and everything that is good and creative, where these things do not exist, neither does God, and the opposite is Anti-God. I do not watch TV much anymore. I like TV, I just don't have time. I don't even listen to the radio or music much unless I am driving. That's a huge change for a guy who went to night clubs 5 nights a week and could tell you about every TV show's inside scoop a few years back! I also struggled with drugs and alcohol for a while and had to spend a few nights here and there behind bars to figure it all out. I ran for 23rd District House of US Representatives in 2006, ask me about that sometime! I believe that you work hard, and luck will follow you. You pray to God, to express your desires, to express your thanks, to express your willingness to enter the unknown in proclaiming that his will ultimately be done, but when the prayer is finished it's time to use the brains, brawn and gift you were created with to exert your forward progression in a relentless, ceaseless, fevering, passionate display of sacrifice, fulfillment, Honor, Will and Grace (HA Ha, no pun intended!!). I believe in the Secret, and the Universal Laws of Attraction. I believe in treating others how you wish to be treated. I believe that the lie might circle the earth many times before truth gets out of bed and puts its shoes on, but only because truth is solid and does not worry about the stupid lie. Truth just takes it's time, bares much confidence, cruises out to the well traveled path of the lie, calmly waits till it peaks around the corner on its way back around the earth, and just calmly KICK ITS ASS, and goes back to bed!!
Somebody asked me the other day about my personal life and my love life: Well, I do not have a girlfriend, and I do not date much these days because I am just too busy for the most part. On average I work 6-7 days a week and usually about 16-20 hours a day. I don't sleep or eat much, but I do get out on the beach for at least an hour or so to run. When I do get out, I just go out to movies and ice cream ;) ....
My personal time alone is very important to me these days. I like to meditate and think by myself. Not in some kooky manner though. I don't sit Indian style...I meditate while I work, while I walk or run on the beach. I lay on my bed, or on the beach, or on the floor at work and just think for several hours a day, and that is TV for me. I am a MAJOR insomniac naturally, hence my TV show is a late night show! I'm a weirdo when it comes to Astrology, Numerology, signs and stuff: So here's me Pisces/Tiger born on Friday the 13th! I'm a night owl with the last name of MASH, and was nicknamed Monster Mash!! My favorite animal is actually a TIGER! So yay! I'm down with it all! I think that the stars lined up rather nice for me, so I won't give God too hard a time about my shortcomings or quarks! Although, rock hard abs would have been nice, but I'm 6'2, so that's cool, I guess....ha ha ha see how it works? Now you try....Think of all the negatives, get them out of the way, and then start naming off all the positives....next thing you know, you're just chilling in gratitude, and that's when the heaven's open up and start dumping treasures all over your front lawn! ....
If there is a good discription of me, according to anyone who knows me well, it is that I am extremely energetic and driven. I have a ton of jobs that I have done over the years since I was just a 10 year old kid, and I know how to work hard. I work long hours and take EXTREME pride in my work, goals, culture, education and ethics. I make many sacrifices, pray and meditate often. I am a man of my word: If I say that I am going to do something, it will get done, and it will get done right and get done WELL, even if I am multi tasking out of my mind on 25 or 30 projects, which is typical. I have been married and divorced, but I never cheated on my wife or any other girl, and I have never dated or slept with another friends girl. I believe that in life, if you want to be legendary, you must set very high standards and strive to reach them. Status is achieved when people observe that you ARE INDEED A LEGEND. Legends don't cheat or cut corners. I am always thinking and rethinking my strategies in life. Every plan I make, usually will become altered in some way, so I am always ready to make changes and adjustments to my plans. I don't get mad, I see opportunity out of every challenge as a new right of passage and a chance to show the world what I am made of, by addressing and overtaking my obstacles in a positive constructive way. I don't always travel the path of the masses. I am not afraid to forge my own path, even if it sometimes leads to a dead end, because then I just be patient and feel around for a hidden trap door to the next challenge! Like Paul in the bible was echoed by Napolean, in 1804, I become all things to all men. I have been a rich man and a poor man, a successful man and a failure, a gangster and a humanitarian, a religious man and a demonic man, I have been humble and arrogant, a lover and a hater, a drunk and a sober man, a free man and locked up, I have been with a home and without, I have run the streets and I have slept on the same one's that my dress shoes stomped across with a model clinging to my arm, on the way to a night club on a Friday night. Dream on, and thanks for visiting our page, and taking the time to read this. I'll try to add more later, but I'm not the best at staying on top of it!! ....
