lexicon, the whole story:
Just as Stringfellow Hawke, the protagonist in the work of televised art “Airwolf”, spent his days serenading eagles with his priceless Stradivarius cello… so goes lexicon. Of course the tale of Stringfellow is merely a metaphor for the embodiment of lexicon’s sonic capability.
Through a chartered path of undulating cadence, the quartet lexicon achieves a dynamic sensory experience appealing to the most discernible ear. lexicon has been creating said experiences throughout the Middle Western portion of these United States for what seems like ages. Although the mainstay of lexicon’s catalog of sound is comprised of original composition, the occasional reinventions of modern classics are not barred from any performance.
Existential poetry in motion; lexicon is comprised of four men utilizing their instruments as a liaison for their inner musical passions. Saxofon (travis thacker), low end guitar (ryan nolan), high timbre guitar (erik swanson), percussive devices (michael carlson). These instruments in communion will soothe, enchant, excite, and leave the listener craving more.
