..Originally from NYC, raised in Newburgh, NY of the beautiful Catskill region, Lexi Lawson has been entertaining audiences nationwide since she was seven years old. Reviewed in national publications such as Backstage Magazine, NY Times, as well as local press, the young SAG/AFTRA/AEA triple threat continues to contribute her talents and pursue her dreams. Perhaps you have seen Miss Lawson on television appearing in commercials such as Sprint, McDonalds, Charmin, Acuvue, Sears, Twizlers, AT&T, and promos for Ashlee Simpson, My So Called Life, Axe Deodorant and Nike. She has appeared on The Rachael Ray show, and many movie sets including her first role playing a singer in the major motion picture "Ghost of a Girlfriends Past" starring Michael Douglas, Mathew McConaughey and Jennifer Gardner. Lead singer of the national radio Colgate commercial, Lexi was the voice and singer of the character Starr from Nickelodeon's Evergirls.
You may have seen her performing at a range of venues such as Madison Square Garden and Mohegan Sun Arena with Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jams; opening up for international R&B star Neyo; backing up Gloria Gaynor; touring with Glenn Wish in Sweden and Germany; or at Pepsi Arena, Sky Stadium, New York City's Rainbow Room, Roseland Ballroom, Rockefeller Center, Chelsea Piers, Cipriani 42nd Street & Wall Street, Hammerstein Ballroom, Soul Café, Village Underground, and Bodles Opera House to name just a few.
Living on stage she has performed on Broadway, in such diverse productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (child), Runaways (Jackie), The Trip (u/s Mouse) musically directed by Steven Schwartz, and local theatre like Alice in Wonderland (Alice), the Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Mary Poppins (Lead), Sound of Music (Louisa), Anything Goes (dance captain u/s Reno), King Lear (dancer) and many others. She holds the title of the Top Orange County Idol, Dutchess County Idol and Top 10 Hudson Valley Idol.
Because of her family's diverse musical background, Lexi's style and grace has given audiences an array of music ranging from Broadway, Jazz, Contemporary, and Standards, to Funk, R&B, Country, Soul, and Hip Hop.
