Lexy's music cannot be defined, and that is perfect. Bringing a pure and honest blend of different musical styles and influences, Lexy's desire is to affect her listener's lives with her music, the way music has affected her life. Her lyrics are thought provoking and honest and deal with real life experiences that many can relate to. From heartbreak to happiness, she touches on the emotions of her listeners and lets them know they are not alone.
Singing and performing since she was nine years old, Lexy has always had a strong passion for music. She received vocal training for five years at the Fine Art Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida. Not a stranger to musical instruments, lessons in the clarinet, piano, and guitar have taught her the importance of practice, hard-work, and diligence. She has performed at talent shows, parties, and community events. Being a member of her church's chior and praise team has taught her the importance of never forgetting where her gift has come from. An important lesson that so many artists today have lost sight of.
When asked what makes her and her music different from other artists out now Lexy had this to say, " My passion and desire is to be another successful assest to the music world. To me it is not so much about how high I get on the music success ladder or the accolades, it is more about sharing the passion that I have inside to affect and change people's lives the way my life has been changed. Music is such a powerful medium and God has given me a gift and a message to share with the world. I intend to do that whether it is in a sold out stadium or a small town coffee shop or a youth group event. "
Lexy is currently writing music for her first album, planning events where her music can be showcased, and preparing to enter two national talent showcase contents in nashville, tennessee.
My myspace page had the same songs on there for so many months(probably 10) and I got tired of them. so I revamped my whole page giving it a new style and changed all the songs. so I have 4 new songs that truly reflect the musical angle I am currently pursuing.
