Ley54 first began playing drums at the tender age of 6 follow by a brief love affair with the piano at age 10. He eventually started playing guitar after having been blown away by a Van Halen record and decided that the guitar was his true calling.
In 2000, Ley54 decided to move to sunny South Florida and re-invents his sound with a new line up and a band known as “Beyond Sick”. After settling in South Florida and playing a few shows, Ley54 joined local producer and performer Crux Troy and his band known as “Aggitated Pearl”.
“Aggitated Pearl” were the notorious, pop, techno rock, local band from Fort lauderdale . Immediately Ley54 created an impact and helped redefine the band’s sound . He also helped compose and arrange the band’s new album tittle simply, “Never, NeverLand”. The band toured South Florida opening for major acts such as, Josh Tood of “Buck Cherry”, “The Genitorturers” and others.
In 2004, Ley54 formed one of the most brutal and heavy, hard rock bands in South Florida, “Blind Assault”. The band recorded an EP that was produced by Ley54 and toured South Florida leaving a path aural of destruction opening for bands like “Malevolent Creation”, “Hellwitch”, “Divine Empire” and others. “Blind Assault” blew the minds of hard rock fans across Florida with their twisted blend of unique sound and sick talent. In 2005, the band was featured in the “Raw Talent” section of Revolver magazine, May issue. However, the band was dissolved in 2006.
Now Ley54 is currently working on his own project and providing sound for Cruxstar Films, Brutal Noise, various broadcast television and independent projects.
The world seems to want more of this talented musician and Ley54 will deliver like only he can...
