Leyla Rose Moon Dance at the Candy Box (from Miss Carrie). Vocals by Imelda May and music from The World Famous Palookaville Burlesque Orchestra. After well over 12000 views on YouTube this video was deemed "inappropriate" and was banned. It lead to the shutdown of all the Candy Box videos. But it has been relaunched on Veoh thanks to Glamglittercritter. I don't understand what's so obscene, but here it is. Judge for yourself! .. Online Videos by Veoh.com

About me: With her enchanting smile, feline grace, marshmallow skin and retro-vamp style, performers rarely get more intriguing than Leyla Rose. A champion gymnast and dancer in her childhood, Leyla gathered a lifetime of performance experience in a variety of fields, including nine years as a sought after bellydancer, before evolving into a wickedly voluptuous and charismatic burlesque artist. She is now well established in the upper echelons of the UK burlesque scene, performing at prestigious events such as The Candy Box in Birmingham and the Torture Garden and appearing in legendary venues such as Bethnal Green Working Men's Club and Madame JoJo's.
She frequently performs in major cities abroad and has starred in shows and festivals in Milan, Stockholm, Paris, New York, Rome and Helsinki, sharing the bill with some of burlesque's top names such as Dirty Martini, Immodesty Blaize, Kitten on the Keys, World Famous *BOB* and Kitten De Ville.
She has fronted advertising campaigns for retro clothing designer Vivien of Holloway, appearing in high profile magazines such as Harpers Bazaar and has been featured in famous publications such as Q Magazine and Playboy in both Italy and France.
With an onstage presence that is commanding, striking and red hot, Leyla is a remarkably versatile performer. She can evoke the classic elegance of a Golden Age Hollywood movie star performing sultry stripteases, but is equally at home as a bumping, grinding, tassel twirling rock ' n' roll showstopper, with a taste for the macabre and a knock out shimmy shake that is second to none.
Leyla Rose is proud to be sponsored by Vivien of Holloway www.vivienofholloway.com

"She's an uncanny combination of Vampira and Bettie Page - expert at the slightly-sinister raised eyebrow, she can fantastically pull off the shocked damsel-in-distress without missing a beat. Leyla Rose, we salute you!"
Helen Highwater, creator of The Pin-Up Parade (www.pin-upparade.com)
"The Nation's Top Tassel Dancer(...) Leyla's voluptuous curves have captured fans the length and breadth of the country."
The Sun (Scotland)
"A Rose among thorns. In these days of size-zero models, burlesque queen Leyla Rose provides some much-needed glamour."
The Daily Record
"Leyla Rose has most definitely been granted muse status"
RockStar Vanity Photography
"She's the girl with more curves than the Amalfi Coast"
Neil Kendall - Burlesque Photographer
"When Ireland's Leyla Rose, the buxom brunette with translucent skin headlining the show, steps on stage, a hush comes over the room. Her bosom spills over the dark red satin femme-fatale dress, and her pristine face is framed in long black curls. She has the room transfixed as she deftly removes layers of clothing. Unlacing a sequinned bustier, she wraps her breasts in a white mink shawl before turning around to shimmy(...). The tension in the room reaches critical mass - not a breath, not a cough, not a movement from the audience - just before she reveals her abundant breasts covered in rhinestone pasties. Just a peek. But it's enough to ensnare the audience"
Iceland Air's Atlantica Magazine
"She is one ferocious walking firestorm!" Grymmscape (www.deviantArt.com)
"A cathedral of curves" theinkhead (www.deviantArt.com)
Leyla has been filmed for Best of the Fest Channel 4 pilot show on the Edinburgh Festival, Scottish burlesque documentary 'Tease not Sleaze', 'Lo Show Piu Buono Che Ci Sia' on 'All Music' Italy, interviewed on 'C6' Italy and 'Fashion TV' Italy, and for Swedish Television.

Hi Leyla! I'm so happy you liked your Tassel Time and I can only apologize again for it taking so long to come out. You sounded fantastic in the interview and I've had lots of feedback from people who have really enjoyed the episode. It still means a lot to me that you agreed to do it. I have tickets to The Glasgow Show in July, all I need to figure out now is getting up there and finding a place to stay! I may see you earlier as Ditzy is doing one of your workshops in Birmingham so if your around after I'll pop along for a bit to say Howdy! Hope you are well lovely lady! All the best! Matt xxx
