About me:
I am just a girl simply seeking to do God's will.
Someone who is making themselves available who has been broken and hit rock bottom before being remade by him.
I once was blind but now I see was a line of a song that I could not relate to until now. I am no longer tied to the darkness and illusion of this world, but the sunlight is now breaking through for I can see the rays of light beginning to shine over my life as it continues to illuminate more areas of my life that I need to surrender to God. At first the light was hard on the eyes and I wanted to run for my life back into the comfort of the darkness. As the days go by, the light slowly grows brighter and the darkness is fading. Wow!!! Life truly is a gift from God and oh what endless possibilities await when we let him guide our life. It's an exciting adventure.
We are all souls searching for our purpose in this life. If you have no purpose then what is your reason for living?We are simply trying to make it through so that in the end our Saviour will say "well done my good and faithful servant". Until we find our purpose for existing, we will never be happy. We can run as far away as possible and try to block out his calling by busying our lives with all sorts of activities or move from city to city but it will be to no avail. Until we give into his still small voice, we are nothing but a square peg attempting to fit into a round hole. If we choose to do nothing, then we will have lived our whole life without meaning.
Now I know where I belong without a shadow of a doubt and where all humanity belongs. It's in the loving arms of Jesus Christ. That is where peace beyond all comprehension is found.
God gives us gifts to which we will be held accountable if they are not used and perfected for his glory. So, if he gives you a voice like he did me, use it to help someone else. If he gave you musical ability of any kind, don't waste it on earthly things. Life is way too short to waste time! In this day, it seems to be slipping from our fingers even faster.
I love you all! May God's blessings be upon your life. He is not through with us. If we allow him, he can make us his masterpiece because he loves us that much. We are his kids.
