LAURIE G-FORCE IS A NOTORIOUS ROCK GRRL!
Currently, Laurie is the bassist for VIETNAM, the legendary Atlanta band.

LG is also a veteran of many of Atlanta's most infamous bands: SQUIRTGUN, ULTRABABYFAT, SWEETHEART, AMAZING BLAZAK, BOOBYTRAP, SHE-MONSTER, THEE FOUL LICKS, LIARS CLUB, PINKEYE, ALIEN TONGUE, KING-KILL/33º, TIGERSAUCER, P.U.S.H., and BEGGAR'S DECEIVER!!!

About the songs on this profile:
"Not Afraid", "Devil Man", and "Palsy", were engineered by Alice (of TOY), and recorded at Dallas Austin's Recording Project (D.A.R.P.) in Atlanta, Georgia. The Sweetheart demos feature Laurie G-Force (Vocals/Bass), Alice (Guitar/Vocals), Rick Cohen (Guitar), and Micah Watkins (Drums).
"California" by Vietnam is a live recording that is currently available on i-tunes.
"Temporary Chaos" by The Living Abortions was produced and engineered by Clint Steele and was recorded a few summers ago with Cris Cox (Vocals/Guitar), Jymi Mullins (Guitar/Vocals), LG (Bass/Vocals), and Tracy Coss (Drums).
"Ancient Japanese Love Song" is a live recording from a practice space when Pinkeye was only three weeks old, and received airplay on WKLS 96.1, WRAS 88.5, and WREK 91.1 in Atlanta. The trio consisted of Laurie G-Force (Guitar/Vocals), Mitsu Bitchi (Vocals/Bass), and Kelly Diamond (Drums/Vocals).

An innkeeper's daughter, LG spent a childhood living next door to a hotel lounge and listening to the muffled bass that bled through its walls. Fired in the kiln of punk rock and shaped by influences like the Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, the Beatles and Black Sabbath, LG soon began honing her bass playing chops with Atlanta bands like Ultrababyfat and Sweetheart, and opening for everyone from Pavement to Drivin 'n' Cryin'.
