I have held a license in Cosmetology for over 17+ years and have held a license in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work also. I have studied extensively in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Microphysiology and Anatomy. I am also a single mom of a wonderful 18 year old son. He is the light and the joy of my life! His name is Lars. I call him my 'Lucky Lars'!
Lars was born with learning disabilities. At first, I had no clue what life was gonna present to us. I was very fearful. People usually fear what they don't understand. I chose not to live my life in fear and learned everything I could to help my son. I realized that I would be the one who had to 'train him up'. Life is full of challenges. What we choose to do with those challenges, is entirely up to us.
I also love animals and help with our local PAWS organization when I can. I have rescued over 50 animals. I love all animals but am definitely a cat woman and believe that I was a cat in a former life. (Meow!)
