I've told whoppers all my life, and find it very gratifying to validate this nasty habit by calling it 'writing'. Growing up in London, I was the worst student ever at a wonderful school, never went to university, never held down a job for more than two years, and didn't manage to hold on to my marriage either. I pretty much suck at everything except writing. But oh, what tales I tell! Right now I'm working on a five-book series about a boy who quests through the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and the Information Age for the truth of who, and what, he is.
