After playing with the band Cousteau for what seemed like an age, through good times and bad, I have moved to another continent, far far away from my native Cork City and my adopted home London. Before I left I recorded an album with some friends, we spent four days recording, got eleven tracks done and had a good laugh in the process. The album is called Lonely Road and once the dust has settled I will try and get it released. Some samples of said album are here for your listening. Hope you like it.

Liam is the voice behind the critically acclaimed 'COUSTEAU' - In 1999 Indie Label Global Warming Records released their eponymous debut album, which received rave reviews quickly selling out 3000 copies. The band then signed to Major Label Palm Pictures who re-released the album and it went on to sell more than 220,000 copies internationally. Cousteau's best known song remains the single 'Last good day of the year' which featured in advertisements, films and TV around the World. Liam embarks on a solo venture, the eagerly anticipated debut album 'Liam McKahey and The Bodies' - 'Lonely Road'. This is a beautifully crafted album showcasing Liam's rich baritone Scott Walker/Nick Cave-esque vocals. Released on Series 8 Records on 20/04/2009 into all good shops and download sites. **However Series 8 are making a limited amount of pre-release albums available early to his loyal fans here on myspace.**
