Lianna Klassen is an award winning, Canadian Christian Celtic/world influenced artist, based out of Montreal, Quebec. Lianna has a skill in gathering sounds and styles from around the world and forging them together into something that is memorable, radiant and inspiring.
Lianna has had opportunity to minister around the world and is known as one who portrays deep truth and emotion through her music. She has a heartfelt desire to see the church rise up to their full potential in creative worship. A few years ago, God brought her into more of an awareness of the many wonderful and diverse sounds and drumbeats that He has created for His glory in the nations. She began to incorporate this diversity into her writing and musical style. Her 6 recordings are a direct result of this vision with their worldbeat and worldworship overtones. Her "Song For Canada" has become a treasured prayer for thousands across Canada. Her latest recording, “The Guest”, due in spring 2007, is a combination of Celtic hymns, meditations and chants, inspired by early Celtic Christian writings and Lianna’s own experience in intercession.
She is a worship leader and has lead worship in Conferences and Conventions across Canada and Europe. She also teaches on various aspects of worship and is in demand as a speaker at women’s events and retreats.
Lianna lives in Old Montreal, Quebec with her husband.
