Lia is an Professional Oriental dancer, teacher and choreographer living and working in Thessaloniki, Greece.
She was born in Greece but in 1987 she moved with her family to Germany where she started learning to dance at an early age, having the privilege to take lessons with internationally renown teachers such as Medina,Shahrazad,Aladin el Kholy, Prof. Hassan Khalil, Hassan Affifi, Randa Kamel,Raqia Hassan, Madam Nevien and others.
In 2001 she returned to Greece with aspirations for a career in Oriental dance and started working in the first and biggest oriental club of Thessaloniki, “Orient” where she remains to the present day.
She has given innumerable performances in Greece and abroad, some highlights amongst them are, at the Megaro Mousikis Thessalonikis (November 2003), at Moni Lazariston with Mimis Plessas (May 2005), at the Thessaloniki Film Festival (2005) and at the “Ya Salam” Festival in Brussels (March 2008).
In 2005 she is the proud receiver of the “Best Oriental Performance” award from a major chain of dance studios in Greece.
After 8 years of live and televised performances she is known as one of the best oriental dancers of Greece.
Lia’s style is classic Egyptian (Raqs Sharqi).
Her dance is elegant and expressive, and is characterized by her sensual presence and her intense personality.
Presently Lia is choreographing group and solo dancers, she teaches classes and workshops and is performing in Greece and abroad.

Ihr Tanzstil ist ausdrucksstark,temperamentvoll,leidenschaftich und
elegant!
Zahlreiche Auftitte auf Buehnen,Festivals,Galas sowie auch beim Fernsehen
ist Lia bekannt geworden.
Als eine der gefragteste Dozentin fuer Orientalischen Tanz ist Lia in Greece
und Ausland sehr gefragt!

Η Lia είναι επαγγελματιας χορεύτρια, δασκάλα και χορογράφος οριεντάλ που ζεί και εργάζεται στην Θεσσαλονίκη.
Γεννήθηκε στην Ελλάδα και το 1987 μετοίκησε με την οικογένειά της στην Γερμανία όπου και ξεκίνησε να χορεύει σε πολύ μικρή ηλικία έχοντας την τύχη να παρακολουθήσει μαθήματα κοντά σε δασκάλους διεθνούς αναγνώρισης (Medina,Shahrazad,Aladin el Kholy, Prof. Hassan, Khalil, Hassan Affifi, Randa Kamel,Raqia Hassan, Madam Nevien κ.α.) σε διαφορετικά στύλ οριεντάλ.
Επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα το 2001, με ελπίδες για μια λαμπρή καριέρα και αμέσως ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται στο πρώτο ανατολίτικο μαγαζί της Θεσσαλονίκης, το “Orient” όπου και παρέμεινε ως σήμερα.
Έχει δώσει παραστάσεις σε όλη την Ελλάδα, με πιό σημαντικές αυτήν στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης (Νοέμβριος 2003), στη Μονή Λαζαριστών με τον Μίμη Πλέσσα (Μαϊος 2005), στο Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης (2005) αλλά και στο εξωτερικό στο “Ya Salam” Festival (Βρυξέλλες- Μάρτιος 2008)
Επίσης εμφανίζεται σε μια πληθώρα τηλεοπτικών εκπομπών και το 2007 συμμετέχει στο video clip του Πασχάλη Αβραμιτίδη.
Το 2005 κερδίζει το βραβείο «Καλύτερη Επίδειξη Οriental» από την μεγαλύτερη αλυσίδα σχολών χορού στην χώρα.
Σήμερα, μετά απο 8 χρόνια ζωντανών και τηλεοπτικών εμφανίσεων έχει καταξιωθεί σαν μια από τις καλύτερες χορεύτριες στην χώρα.
Το στύλ της Lia είναι κλασσικό αιγυπτιακό (Raqs Sharki).
Ο χορός της είναι κομψός και εκφραστικός, χαρακτηρίζεται από την ανάλαφρη παρουσία της και χρωματίζεται από την έντονη προσωπικότητα της.
Σήμερα η Lia χορογραφεί για ομαδικά και solo χορευτικά, διδάσκει μαθήματα και σεμινάρια, και δίνει παραστάσεις σε όλη την Ελλάδα & το εξωτερικό.
