If you only OPEN YOUR EYES and pay attention, you can feel it. You can taste it. You can taste the pain in the world. The sense that we, as a people, are headed in the wrong direction.
Despite our claims of unprecedented freedom, equality, and opportunity for all, people are still STARVING TO DEATH. Our morality is not advancing as quickly as our technology. We make symbolic gestures to help those in need, but true change occurs much too rarely and much too slowly.
We have the money and the resources to feed the poor the world over. We have the resources to fight poverty, to fight AIDS, to fight for a better life for those who truly need it. But those are not the fights we choose.
Allow your heart to be moved and think about the example of Love and what the ultimate scarifice was for us... "give"...

Darfur is the biggest humanitarian crisis on the planet.
Over the past three years, Sudanese forces and the government-back Janjaweed militia have targeted the civilian populations of specific ethnic groups. They have burned and terrorized hundreds of villages, killing over 400,000 people and raping thousands of women and young girls in the process. Those who survive the attacks on their villages are forced to flee, enduring severe shortages of food and clean water.
Make no mistake, what is happening in Darfur is genocide. It is ethnic cleansing.
Darfur by the Numbers:
- 400,000+ dead since February 2003
- 2 million people displaced from their homes
- 80% of children under 5 have severe malnutrition

Update on our event (Roll Up Your Sleeves for Refugees) last Friday night, July 31 09 ...
... We raised enough @ this small event alone to help fix up the water supply of the kids in the image below, Afghan refugees living outside Quetta (Pakistan), three hours from the the border of Afghanistan.

Please go to this site and read the petition to stop a bill that will no longer allow people to grow natural foods, you can support the petition right from the site by entering your info you cast your say in what will happen....please take the 1min it will take to help stop the governement from destroying all of our natural and organic food supplies. My family loves to garden, this will no longer be alowed. My family buys from small road side farmers, this will no longer be available. I try to keep chemicals out of my children by buying organic foods, there will be none to buy. Let not allow this to happen, your voice counts and we need you to take the 1 minute to help stop this crazy bill.
