At age 33, Anthony Jerrod has achieved a tremendous amount of educational and professional success, which he gives ALL GLORY TO GOD. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Southern University in 1997, where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Anthony also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Louisiana State University with similarly high honors. He also studied at the Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University and Alabama A&M University. During his tenure at Southern University, Anthony met his beautiful wife, Cherrino, who also graduated with a B.S. degree and Magna Cum Laude honors and subsequently graduated with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from Northwestern State University. Within the context of their blessed union, a precious gift and heritage from the LORD was born, Austen.

After graduating from graduate school, Anthony held management positions (i.e., Project Director, Project Manager and Management System Manager) with several engineering firms. These job opportunities allowed Anthony to travel around the country (37 states) and world (Japan, S. Korea).

At an early age, Anthony recognized his spiritual gifts of writing and teaching and his passion for helping youth and the weak and poor. He has been writing Christian poetry and literature for over 15 years with the genuine intent of helping and pouring out his heart to others.

In obedience to God, Anthony has completed his already critically-acclaimed and national bestselling book, Carnal Striving Spiritual. The book has been critically reviewed as one of the best Christian books of 2009. Carnal Striving Spiritual is an exciting, encouraging, inspirational and life-changing book that explores carnality in the hope of helping billions of people around the world to discover their purpose and to grow and mature spiritually. Carnal Striving Spiritual explores and analyzes a plethora of contemporary and current topics. It is a book for children of God of all ages, races, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds and a multitude of nations.
